Covered in solid tar puppies trapped in their own bodies, only their eyes could move, rescued.
Stray puppies are one of the unfortunate animals that suffer the most from the actions of unscrupulous people.
The abuse of defenseless animals is one of the most cruel and incomprehensible acts that some people display in society.
Today we present one of those cases that shows the cruelty of some people, but also the great love of others in making a difference and saving the lives of the most vulnerable.
Two puppies were rescued covered in tar. They were lying in a trash can, unable to move. The substance had solidified, turning into a solid mass that was very heavy for their small bodies.
They were so weak and scared that they could barely breathe. The puppies were cared for by the Animal Aid Unlimited rescue group in India, an organization that specializes in rescuing endangered wildlife.
The rescuers knew they had to act quickly, otherwise the tar would stick to the dogs’ skin, making it even harder for them to breathe. At the rescue center, they were given antibiotics to ease their pain and calm them down.
The top priority was to remove the tar without harming the puppies, so it was a real challenge for the volunteers, who used great care and infinite love to remove most of the thick tar by spraying oil onto their tiny bodies.
The volunteers spent hours trying to free the dogs from the thick substance.
Luckily, the technique worked, and after hours of work, the puppies were completely clean. They needed a break so they could be bathed again, so at the end of the day they were put in a cage with comfortable beds for them.
However, just when the rescuers thought it was all over, they received a call saying there were still more tar-covered puppies in dire need of help.
A rescue team rushed to the scene as quickly as possible, upon arrival they found two dogs in a similar situation to the rescue they had carried out just a few hours earlier.
Now they had two more tar-covered puppies in need of care, upon returning to the shelter they rushed to bathe them, they soon realised that these puppies were siblings of the previously rescued poodles, by late at night they had reunited them with their siblings.
The next day the puppies were given a nice bath, fed healthy food and lots of cuddles by their caretakers. They were four adorable little angels who became beautiful miracles of life.
find her babies, they knew that she was the mother of the rescued children so they did everything they could to find her and reunite the family.
The family was eventually reunited and are waiting to be adopted.
Although these furry friends had a happy ending, this is not the first time that different rescue groups have responded to the call to save dogs covered in this slimy liquid, which can be fatal if ingested or not cared for promptly.
It is hard not to be moved by the images that reveal a harsh reality: animal abuse is lurking on the streets, so there is a need to raise social awareness and educate about the importance and respect that not only stray dogs but all animals in the world deserve.
