Pitbull Can’t Stop Hugging His New Dad After Being Adopted

Adopting an animal from a rescue shelter is always a touching and joyous moment. Plus, Maggie’s reaction to meeting her new dad has left people all over the world in tears but also filled with joy.

This beautiful pitbull was so happy that she couldn’t stop hugging and kissing the man who had chosen her for a forever home! Maggie’s life was tough, but when she met her new owner, Mark, everything changed.

Mischka, a rescue dog raised by Mark and Mary McCraw, passed away suddenly a few months ago. They had been through a very difficult time and never thought they would love a dog as much as Mischka, but then Maggie came along!

Mark admitted that the dog melted his heart.

“We lost our other dog a few months before we met Maggie, and this was just a friendly meeting in my mind. I didn’t think we were ready for a new dog, but here we are.”

The Pitties From Heaven is a South Carolina shelter where Maggie was adopted after being rescued from her previous owners. They have posted some adorable videos of the rescue dog meeting her new dad for the first time.

Mark McCraw and his wife, Mary, were devastated when they lost their rescue dog Mischka a few months ago.

Maggie, now happier than ever, rushed to his side, jumped into his arms, and gave him a big hug as if they had just been reunited.

“I didn’t think I was ready for a new dog, but here we are.”

The foster wrote: “It was as if they had known each other for years. This is why we adopted. This is the moment an abandoned dog becomes part of the family.”

Maggie wasn’t the only one excited about the meeting, however. Mark was also overjoyed to meet another dog who captured his heart instantly!

Maggie ran up to him, jumped into his arms and gave him hugs and kisses.

The man said he crouched down so Maggie wouldn’t be intimidated, and within seconds, she was sitting on his lap and becoming a part of his life. “It was love at first sight; it was an instant connection. We felt like she was meant to be with us,” he added.

“This is why we adopted. This is the moment an abandoned dog becomes part of the family.”

Andra Mack, who adopted Maggie before she was adopted, said she was one of the most adorable dogs they had ever adopted.

“The moment Maggie met her new dad, my husband and I just looked at each other — because we knew. It was like a movie.”
