A year ago, I came into this world — not in a warm home, not in soft blankets, but in a cold alley, barely noticed, barely wanted. My first breaths were filled with fear. My tiny cries echoed into silence. No one celebrated me then.

But today… today is different.

Because I made it.

Through hunger, through loneliness, through nights shivering in the rain — I survived. Then one day, someone saw me. Not just my messy fur or my frightened eyes — they saw me. They picked me up, held me close, and whispered, “You’re safe now.”

Since then, I’ve learned what love feels like.

I’ve learned that hands can be kind. That warm food and soft beds exist. That belly rubs mean “I love you,” and that every wag of my tail brings smiles.
