Used as Bait Dog Over and Over… Her Life was Just Cries and Pain, But Now Lives Like a Queen!

💔 Her face was torn apart. Her body ripped open. Yet… she still wagged her tail at us.

Two tiny puppies were found collapsed in a ditch—completely exhausted and barely alive. One of them, a poor brindle baby, was so badly injured she was unrecognizable. Her face had been shredded, her nasal cavity destroyed and her bones exposed. One ear was mangled, and her fragile body was covered in bite wounds. It was clear: she had been used as bait in dog fights—then discarded like trash when she couldn’t take it anymore.

The wounds were already over a week old. She had been suffering in silence for days. And yet… as the rescuers approached, she gently wagged her tail. As if begging for a chance.

They named her Amber—a small soul with the heart of a fighter. She was rushed in for a CT scan to assess the extent of the damage, so doctors could plan a complex facial reconstruction surgery. While she was sedated, they carefully cleaned her wounds.

The surgery was successful, but risk was still high. The doctors worried about tissue rejection, infection, and necrosis. Amber remained under 24/7 ER supervision. She was still weak, badly swollen… but alive.

Days passed, and little by little, she began to improve. The swelling went down, and the grafted skin showed signs of surviving. Her nose needed regular care and antibiotics, but Amber remained gentle, sweet, and grateful—even after everything she’d endured.

That’s when vet Nikki met her—and fell in love instantly. She offered Amber a forever home once she was strong enough.

By the following week, Amber had already gained 4 pounds. Her stitches were removed from her face and neck. New hair began to grow on her head. Though she still had swelling, she was healing beautifully. She still needed heartworm treatment and a spay surgery—but she was finally safe.

Amber never once complained. She went through hell, but acted like she was living in heaven. Her spirit healed alongside her body.

Soon, she was outside, playing with her new siblings. If not for the rescue team who saw hope in her eyes, Amber would’ve never known this life.

Her new family shared: “Amber changed the way I look at life. She made me stop complaining—about pain, about stress, about anything. She reminded me what true strength looks like.”

They decided to adopt her permanently. Amber is home. Safe, comfortable, joyful—and deeply loved.

💛 Thank you to everyone who stood behind this brave little soul.
Because of you, Amber has the life she always deserved. 🐾
