Farewell, Kiah – 14 Years of Love Will Never Be Enough
At exactly 10:15 PM last night, Kiah—a beloved companion who had spent more than a decade bringing joy and comfort to her family—took her final breath in the arms of those who loved her most.
Just the day before, she had been full of life. Happy, energetic, and simply herself—just like she had been for the past 14 wonderful years. When her breathing began to seem off, her family thought she might have just gotten a little too warm. But quietly and without warning, something far more serious was unfolding: Kiah was suffering from congestive heart failure.
Despite giving her the prescribed medication as soon as they received it, her condition worsened rapidly. Only three hours later, Kiah went into respiratory distress. And then came the most heartbreaking decision of all—to let her go peacefully, free from pain and fear.
“Fourteen incredible years with Kiah went by far too quickly. It wasn’t nearly enough time. Our hearts are shattered.”
Kiah was more than a dog. She was family. A loyal companion. A gentle soul who brought peace on the hardest days. The look in her eyes, her joyful bark, the sound of her paws rushing to greet a familiar voice—those memories now remain as quiet echoes in the home she once filled with life.
🌈 Rest peacefully, sweet Kiah.
You’ve left a pawprint on our hearts that words could never truly express.
We miss you deeply.
