She began her life as a victim of China’s brutal dog meat trade, subjected to unspeakable cruelty and horrific conditions. Despite the unimaginable trauma, Angel survived, but her past left deep scars—both physical and emotional. Her face was severely disfigured, a constant reminder of the horrors she endured. 😔

One of the most devastating effects of her past was a severe breathing impediment caused by the scars on her face, making it difficult for her to breathe properly. Desperate to help her, Angel underwent facial surgery in hopes that it would alleviate her struggles. The surgery was a brave step toward healing, and though it did provide some improvement, her breathing issues didn’t improve as much as everyone had hoped.

But despite the challenges, Angel’s spirit remains unbroken.
