The Poor Dog Mom Roaming by the Roadside with Her Puppies, She Will Never Give Up No Matter How Tough It Gets.

While passing through a dim tunnel on the way to work, a rescuer heard the faint cries of puppies echoing near the roadside. Following the sound, they stumbled upon a mother dog and her newborns—likely strays—curled up in a patch of dense grass. The mother dog, clearly malnourished and wary, kept a cautious distance, her eyes filled with fear and distrust. But her puppies, no more than a few weeks old, crawled eagerly toward the human who had stopped for them.
The rescuer, fortunately, had some dog food and breakfast with them, which they shared with the hungry family. A cracked egg was offered; the mother even tried to eat the eggshell in desperation. Understanding her need to nurse and nourish her young, the rescuer made the difficult decision not to leave them behind. Using a rope from their electric scooter, they gently secured the dogs and brought them along.
With the puppies in a bag and the mother walking by their side, the journey to the rescuer’s workplace began. There wasn’t much space on the scooter, but somehow they managed to squeeze in. Upon arrival, a cardboard box was arranged beneath the desk. The dogs lay quietly, not barking or causing a fuss. It was as if they knew they were finally safe.
After work, they were taken to a vet. Miraculously, both mother and puppies were healthy, free from serious diseases like distemper. A warm bath followed—the water turned black from dirt, but soon their white fur shone. The puppies were dried, and a heat lamp was installed to keep them warm. They fell asleep peacefully in a soft dog bed, finally safe, finally clean.
The rescuer vowed to care for them forever.
Days later, they returned to the original site to search for any missing puppies. The area, a high, narrow roadside ledge, seemed too dangerous for little ones. Despite a thorough search and the mother’s occasional sniffing, no other puppies were found. It was assumed these few were the only survivors.
Now, clean and fed, the little family was adjusting well. The rescuer prepared crucian carp soup to help the mother regain strength. The smell made tails wag excitedly. The mother, selflessly, let her puppies eat first. She licked only the taste left on gloves. But when offered more, she began sharing the warm, nourishing meal with her babies.
Within five days, they became comfortable in their new home. They played, wagged their tails, and responded lovingly to their new human. When the weather grew colder, the rescuer dressed the puppies warmly and prepared them for vaccination—alongside three other previously rescued dogs.
The trip to the vet wasn’t easy. The puppies remained calm, but the larger dogs grew anxious and resisted. It took three people to hold one of them down for the shot. In contrast, the mother dog remained still, seemingly understanding the necessity. All of them were vaccinated safely, gaining a new layer of protection for their futures.
Now, they are one family. Big dogs and little dogs, each healthy, each full of trust and love. Thanks to one person’s compassion, they were lifted from the harshness of the streets and into the warmth of a real home.
As the rescuer watches them grow stronger every day, playing and thriving, they are reminded of one simple truth: every life deserves love, safety, and a chance to be happy.
