Today is my special day—my birthday! But, I have to admit, it’s been a little hard because no one has remembered to say “Happy Birthday” to me yet.

Still, I’m choosing to focus on the love I can give myself. Sometimes, life doesn’t go the way we hope, and we might not always get the recognition we deserve, but that doesn’t mean we can’t be our own biggest cheerleaders.

Even without the celebrations from others, I’m sending myself all the love, joy, and smiles I can muster today.

Because, no matter what, I deserve to celebrate me. So, here’s to another year of growth, laughter, and finding happiness within.
