Tommy the cat had been a wandering animal for several years, but he regularly appeared in the yard of a certain family, looking for a piece of food and a little affection.

One day, Tommy reappeared, as was his custom, but this time he looked different. Apparently, he had severe burns all over his face and was in great pain.

In horror, the family realized that Tommy had been doused with acid. She immediately took action and drove him to the nearest veterinarian. First, the doctor noticed that Tommy was suffering from feline immunodeficiency virus (“feline” AIDS) and suggested euthanasia.

But the family immediately brushed this proposal off the table, because Tommy really meant a lot to her. Thus began Tommy’s long journey to recovery.

The treatment lasted a long six weeks, during which he had his fur back and his condition improved dramatically. He had lost none of his sweet nature and seemed to have easily adapted to his new appearance. As it turns out, the family that rescued him made the right decision not to euthanize him.

He is an incredibly good-looking cat! Although Tommy only has one eye, he doesn’t look like a disabled animal at all.

He loves all the attention, he and photography became best friends almost overnight and now he even has his own Facebook account under the name Sir Thomas Trueheart.

Overnight, the cat became a creature that inspired millions of people! Why? Becausepeople almost killed him, but he still loves people very much and trusts them. Now he is finally in a home where he will be able to spend his life in peace.
